Umag

Umag is an Istrian coastal town in Croatia, the seat of the municipality of the same name with almost 8,000 inhabitants, which administratively belongs to the Istrian County.

The town is located on the northwestern coast of Istria, next to the coastal road that connects Savudria with Novigrad, only 10 km from the national border with Slovenia. The city is divided into two parts. The older part with the old city center lies on the peninsula, and the newer part on the mainland.
