Kranjska Gora (810 altitude, 2000 inhabitants) is the most famous ski center in Slovenia.
It is located in a mountain valley between the Julian Alps and Karavanke, in the northwestern part of the country, at the junction of the border with Austria and Italy.
The resort is suitable for both beginner and professional skiers. The atitude difference is - from 810 m to 1570 m. The ski season usually runs from early December to mid-March.
